Biography
Jeren Kendall was born in Wisconsin and has called Nashville home for the past eight years. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University, where he also competed in college baseball at a high level. In 2017, Jeren was selected in the first round of the MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers and went on to spend seven years playing professionally within their organization.
After retiring from professional sports, Jeren transitioned into the field of mental health and is currently completing the practicum and internship phase of his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling at Trevecca University. He is passionate about walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges, particularly those tied to identity, change, and purpose.
Jeren especially enjoys working with young adults facing major life transitions—such as the shift from college to the workforce—as well as former athletes whose sense of self has been shaped by high achievement and performance. His work is rooted in the belief that meaningful transformation begins with mindset. The quote above—his personal mantra—captures the heart of his approach: helping others rewrite the narratives they hold about themselves and discover new possibilities ahead.
