Lorin Herr, LMSW
Lorin has a Master's of Science in Social Work from UT Nashville, and has worked with a variety of clients and settings including women and young women, children and families, and currently as a Medical Social Worker with Hospice.
In her practice at Symmetry, Lorin works with adults and young adults specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
As an adjunct to therapy, Lorin uses neurofeedback to primarily support people in relaxation and developing better self-regulation. This can include individuals that are having difficulties related to focus, impulsiveness, stress, relationships, and sleep, to name a few.
Lorin has completed two years of Hakomi training as well as mindful self-compassion training and mindful self-compassion teacher training. To stay healthy and happy, she likes to do yoga, spend time with warm and friendly people, and go to support group.
