Cathy Schultz, MSSW, LMSW
Cathy has a passion for showing others their strengths in difficult situations. She believes that each person can overcome their situation once given the proper tools to address it. She provides a warm, understanding and empathetic atmosphere. She understands that each individual and couple are unique and will collaborate with the client(s) to find the best possible solution. Cathy’s greatest joy as a therapist is to watch her clients address their difficult circumstance to a happier and more peaceful life.
Cathy is licensed as a LMSW (Licensed Master of Social Work) by the State of Tennessee and has a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. In the past she has worked in multiple settings that addressed life transitions for adults as well as geriatrics. Her training also includes counseling couples through relationship difficulties as well as individuals working through depression, anxiety, self-esteem and trauma.
In her free time, Cathy enjoys cooking, exercising and spending time with family and friends.
